FC Dallas have had three players named to the MLS All-Star roster to face Real Madrid on Wednesday, August 2 at Soldier Field. Kellyn Acosta and Matt Hedges, both currently with the US national team at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, as well as Argentine full back, Hernan Grana, were added to the 24-man roster.
Dallas join Atlanta and Toronto as the second most represented club behind the hosts, Chicago. Oscar Pareja's team do lead MLS in All-Star Week participation with a further three players selected in the MLS Homegrown Team to play Chivas the day prior. New USMNT keeper, Jesse Gonzalez, joins 17-year-old Paxton Pomykal and 16-year-old Jesus Ferreira in Brian McBride's team.
