FRISCO -- Bryan Acosta will play for FC Dallas against the Seattle Sounders on Saturday night. Then, he'll begin a journey.
Acosta heads from Dallas to Ciudad de Este, a Paraguayan city on the border with Brazil. Next comes Porto Alegre, Brazil, then San Pedro Sula. Later this summer he'll be in Kingston, Jamaica, Houston and Los Angeles for the Gold Cup.
Believe it or not, his travel may be less hectic this summer than it was in previous years. Acosta previous played in the Spanish second division with Tenerife and had to cross the Atlantic to play for the Honduras national team.
