Mike Zimmer texted Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater after upgrading the offensive line. The message: “Now there’s no excuses.”
Mike Zimmer continued the theme he pronounced two months ago at the Senior Bowl: The Minnesota Vikings’ offensive line wasn’t good enough last year.
Speaking to reporters at the NFL owners meetings in Boca Raton, Fla. on Wednesday morning, Zimmer was honest once again in his assessment of the Vikings’ 2015 offensive line.
“I feel every other position group on our football team has a tough-minded personality. I don’t know that our O-line did,” he said, according to the Pioneer Press.
