OVERVIEW: Teams have been filling positions of need with elite athletes in the first round. As we get into the second round, teams start looking at positions that need help, but time is running out to get starters that can step in immediately and fill needs to improve the position. The wild card here is whether a team feels confident in drafting injured Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith, who is almost surely going to miss all of 2016 season and there are lingering questions as to whether he will ever fully recover. Prior to his injury, he was a top-five pick.
