The Minnesota Vikings gave their tight ends plenty of work again on Sunday and made due with what they had available at linebacker.
Cordarrelle Patterson and Adam Thielen made the most of their limited offensive playing time. Patterson played in just two offensive snaps and turned in a 6-yard run, and Thielen played one snap, a 14-yard run for a first down immediately after Patterson's run.
Their limited use showed just how intent the Vikings were on using their tight ends to help the running game. Kyle Rudolph played in 85 percent of the 62 offensive snaps, Rhett Ellison was used in 60 percent of the plays and MyCole Pruitt in 27 percent.
