In a series of roster moves made in response to their rash of defensive injuries, the Minnesota Vikings made several moves on Tuesday, two days in advance of their Thursday night appearance against the Arizona Cardinals, who have the top-ranked offense in the NFL.
The Vikings promoted safety Anthony Harris to the 53-man roster with injuries to starting safeties Harrison Smith and Andrew Sendejo and fill-in Antone Exum. Exum was placed on season-ending injured reserve with rib and shoulder injuries suffered in Sunday’s game. He had started the last two games for Smith and Sendejo, respectively.
