Tom Dahlin/Viking Update
The Minnesota Vikings could be without some of their top receivers and defensive backs while going against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
The Minnesota Vikings will be short on receivers in the passing game and defensive backs to defend the Denver Broncos’ passing game.
That’s the takeaway from Friday at Winter Park, as several injured Vikings were unable to practice for the third straight day.
On offense, the most impactful injury is starting receiver Charles Johnson, who suffered a rib injury in the first quarter of last Sunday’s win over the San Diego Chargers.
