Three key starters didn’t practice on Thursday, three days in advance of the Vikings’ attempt to win the NFC North title.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson didn’t return to practice on Thursday, and Everson Griffen joined Peterson and Linval Joseph among those that didn’t practice.
Peterson missed Wednesday and Thursday practices last week with the ankle injury but practiced in full on Friday and was listed as probable. That could be the timeline he follows again this week, despite head coach Mike Zimmer saying he thought Peterson would practice on Thursday.
