Travis Tuiloma a Rock for BYU

Total Blue Sports/Troy Verde

The middle of BYU’s defense is manned by a one of the strongest players on the Cougar defense in nose tackle Travis Tuloma. During fall camp, Tuiloma was a force in the middle of BYU’s defense, allowing the front seven to be very competitive in stopping the run game and getting to the quarterback.

When BYU played Nevada last season at LaVell Edwards Stadium, Wolfpack head coach Brian Polian made an interesting comment on a player at a position that doesn’t get much glory. Travis Tuiloma was singled out by Polian for his powerful play at the nose tackle position.
