The Minnesota Vikings got two of their best defenders back in practice on Friday.
Safety Harrison Smith, who suffered a knee injury on Sunday, and defensive end Everson Griffen (hip and shoulder) were both working in practice Friday during the portion open to the media.
Rookie cornerback Trae Waynes, who presumably suffered an ankle injury in Thursday’s practice and was limited, was not practicing Friday but didn’t appear to have any noticeable limp.
The rest of the Vikings roster were all practicing on Friday.
The complete injury report for the Vikings and Atlanta Falcons will be issued Friday afternoon.
