Injuries prevented two key defenders from practicing Wednesday for the Minnesota Vikings.
The Minnesota Vikings were without two of their key defenders at Wednesday’s practice. S Harrison Smith was out with a knee injury and DE Everson Griffen didn’t practice with shoulder and hip injuries.
Smith took a shot to his knee from CB Terence Newman during a scramble for a loose ball on Sunday.
In addition to them, S Robert Blanton (ankle), DT Sharrif Floyd (ankle) and T Matt Kalil (toe) were limited.
