Quarterbacks are always the primary talk of the first round and 2016 is no different, but the Cleveland Browns could be tired of drafting and failing with a first-round quarterback. Or, perhaps, they believe the acquisition of Robert Griffin III is enough to allow them to work on the defense in the first round this year.
While the Browns might still have a need at quarterback for the future, for now they affect several other picks in the first round by eschewing the top quarterback in the draft and going defense at No. 2 overall. Still, it didn’t take much longer for the first quarterback to go in our Scout.
