When you see his highlights, Ronnie Rust, 6-0,202, Central Catholic High School, Portland, Oregon, you see him running away from the competition. Rust, a two-sport athlete in baseball and football, appeared to have things all wrapped up regarding his future, but then he tore labrum in his left shoulder and things changed.
Rust had been committed to Oregon State baseball until the injury occurred and when the scholarship offer was withdrawn, Rust reopened the recruiting process. This last weekend Rust visited the Autzen Stadium complex on an unofficial visit and according to a Twitter message on Sunday.
“Had an amazing visit at the University of Oregon,” messaged Rust of the visit.
