The Redskins add another under-the-radar piece by signing a key contributor from the Super Bowl champion Broncos.
The Washington Redskins made their long awaited second addition in free agency by adding help for the secondary.
The Redskins signed former Denver Broncos safety and special teams stn David Bruton Tuesday, the team announced.
Bruton, 28, spent all seven of his NFL seasons with Broncos after Denver selected him in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Defensive end Kendall Reyes was the only other outside free agent added by Washington. Both players project more as role players and contributors rather than frontline starters.
