There were high hopes that the Minnesota Vikings, given their increased success in 2015, would see players like Anthony Barr, Linval Joseph and Harrison Smith make the Pro Bowl team.
Those hopes got dashed Tuesday, as Adrian Peterson was the only player selected to the squad. There is still a hope that more Vikings will make the squad as players either drop out due to injury or are members of the two Super Bowl teams, but, for now, it’s only A.P.
It was the seventh Pro Bowl selection for Peterson, tied for fourth-most in franchise history with tackle Ron Yary.
