Adrian Peterson is “alright” after an ankle injury and Sunday’s inactive defensive players have a “good possibility” to return against the New York Giants.
Adrian Peterson was sporting his usual smile in the Minnesota Vikings locker room on Monday, but he didn’t have a walking boot or any discernable bracing on his ankle that he said was sprained during Sunday’s 38-17 win over the Chicago Bears.
“It was definitely an ankle sprain. I was able to get out and kind of get it loose, and I got it loose enough after about the first series and was able to get back out there,” Peterson said after Sunday’s win.
