The Carolina Panthers announced Wednesday that they had re-signed long snapper J.J. Jansen to a long-term deal.
The Carolina Panthers re-signed their first free agent of the offseason on Wednesday when they agreed to terms on a five-year deal with long snapper J.J. Jansen, according to the team's site.
Jansen has been with the Panthers since 2009, when the team worked out a trade with the Green Bay Packers for him. He has had an impressive run with over 1,000 snaps and only one bad snap in that time period.
