Eric Roddy breaks down three possible mid-round running backs the Miami Dolphins could target in this year's draft.
The Miami Dolphins appear to be rolling with sophomore running back Jay Ajayi heading into the 2015-2016. That being said, while Ajayi may be the favorite to start (unless the Dolphins somehow draft Ezekiel Elliott), the Dolphins will definitely look to the 2016 NFL Draft as a means of bringing in another running back. Adam Gase has already confirmed that he wants a "stable of backs," but the Dolphins may not choose to spend a first or second round pick on a back, as they have other more pressing needs at the moment.
