The Vikings are optimistic many of their key defensive players will be healthy enough to play on Sunday night, but they remained limited in Thursday’s practice.
Despite continued optimism that the Minnesota Vikings would be close to full strength, there wasn’t much change in their injury report on Thursday.
Key defensive players Harrison Smith (knee/hamstring), Anthony Barr (knee), Linval Joseph (foot) and Everson Griffen (shoulder) all remained limited on Thursday.
Barr had been listed on the injury report in previous weeks with groin and hand injuries, but that changed to a knee injury this week, although Zimmer indicated it wasn’t a new injury.
