J.T.’s offensive game balls

Mike Doster USA Today Sports

BCI is back at it giving out offensive game balls for the Bearcats latest performance against the Connecticut Huskies on homecoming weekend. Let’s check out who the top performers were this week.

This week I could’ve given the ball to pretty much the whole offense as they mashed the Huskies defense for 612 yards. The Bearcats bounced back in a big way to get their record to 4-3 and score their first win in conference this season.

Let’s see who received game balls.

Game ball number one: Gunner Kiel, quarterback- 26/35 for 327 yards and 2 touchdowns, 5 carries for 10 yards and 1 touchdown

When we saw Kiel trot out on the field we didn’t know what to expect, but he carved UConn’s defense like Thanksgiving turkey spreading the ball out to every receiver on the roster and only getting sacked once in the process.
