The controversial NFL top 100 list of players for the coming season got its first introduction to the Minnesota Vikings. Two Vikings were named to the list -- defensive tackle Linval Joseph at No. 76 and safety Harrison Smith at No. 73.
Coming off a year in which only one member of the Minnesota Vikings made the NFL’s annual top 100 list, it seemed certain that those numbers would jump this year. Adrian Peterson was viewed as a lock and strong cases could be made for linebacker Anthony Barr, defensive end Everson Griffen and safety Harrison Smith.
