The snaps of the running backs showed the lopsided score of the game, while the defensive snaps counts showed how injuries affected that side of the ball.
No wonder Adrian Peterson said the Minnesota Vikings have to evaluate some things on offense. For the first time this season, the Vikings used Jerick McKinnon more at running back than Peterson, as offensive coordinator Norv Turner turned to catch-up mode early as the running game went stagnant and McKinnon’s pass-catching ability became more valuable.
Peterson was only in for 20 of the Vikings’ 52 offensive snaps while McKinnon got 22 snaps.
