Fantasy football leaderboards to start the 2024 season have been populated by familiar faces as well as several surprising players at the top.
Lamar Jackson averaging the most standard fantasy points per week among quarterbacks through five games to open the year doesn't come as a surprise, although Jayden Daniels and Baker Mayfield ranking No. 2 and No. 3 certainly does (via FantasyPros).
Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley owning two of the top three spots among running backs in standard leagues also isn't shocking. However, it was difficult to imagine Alvin Kamara and Jordan Mason sitting within the top five entering the year.
