When Titans training camp opens up next week Justin Hunter will be on the field. Despite pending felonious assault charges, the team is standing by him. Their plan is to "let legal process play out". Prior to the arrest, Hunter was the favorite to start on the outside opposite of Kendall Hunter. He is not scheduled to appear in court until September 3, which is the same day as the Titans' preseason finale.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Titans are doing the right thing here. If you're going to cut Hunter it should be because he's not a capable NFL receiver not because a first incident in which he punched a man in the face.
