Houston Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer replaced Ryan Mallett in the second quarter of tonight's game. Mallett came off the field after seemingly getting the wind knocked out of him. Hoyer entered and led the team to their first points of the game. Head coach Bill O'Brien decided to roll with him and it paid off with a half time Hail Mary TD pass. Hoyer will start the second half.

Mallett learned a very valuable lesson in tonight's game, stay on the field. Hoyer played much better and gave the offense a shot in the arm.
