Former Auburn wideout Sammie Coates was projected to be a borderline first-round pick before questions were raised about his ability as an NFL receiver. The biggest questions were regarding his ability to catch. Steelers' general manager Kevin Colbert had very high praise of the young receiver and disagrees with the notion that Coates has subpar hands. 'When we went into this draft, we thought we'd probably come out with six defensive guys and two offensive guys, and we were going to interject (offensive) players who we feel were too good to pass up,' Colbert said. 'He's big, he's fast, he's strong and he has good hands.
