The Seahawks have finally signed their Super Bowl winning quarterback to a new deal. He signed a four-year, $87.6 million extension. The contract includes $60 million guaranteed. Yet another contract gets done right before a deadline. Wilson had stated that he would cut off negotiations once training camp opened up.
Fantasy Analysis:
This deal was inevitable. The Seahawks were never going to let the quarterback that led them to back-to-back Super Bowls just walk. Say what you will about Wilson, whether you believe he's elite or mediocre with a great supporting cast, the Seahawks aren't in the Super Bowl with Matt Flynn under center.
