The Jets acquired Marcus Gilchrist this offseason and he's expected to start at free safety. It was reported on Thursday that we underwent a procedure on his shoulder. Gilchrist wouldn't get into specifics but did say something "needed to be fixed". He is currently limited, however, he's expected to be ready for training camp.
Fantasy Analysis:
Gilchrist will most likely be the weak link in the Jets secondary now that Calvin Pryor is moving to his natural position of strong safety. Luckily for the Jets, a great surrounding secondary and defensive line should mask any of Gilchrist's deficiencies.
