In a move that had been widely expected for weeks now, the Titans will reportedly release running back Shonn Greene today. Greene played just two seasons in Tennessee. He finished with a grand total of 687 yards and six TDs. Greene had not yet reported to OTAs due to personal reasons.
Fantasy Analysis:
The writing was on the wall for Greene as soon as the Titans drafted David Cobb, his days were clearly numbered. The unproductive back was owed $3.35 million this season and had no guaranteed money left on his contract.
