The Patriots have signed embattled former Redskins' tight end Fred Davis to a one-year deal. Davis hasn't played a single NFL snap since 2013 and hasn't had a fantasy relevant season since 2011. He had been indefinitely suspended for repeated violations of the substance abuse policy as well as a domestic violence incident. He somehow managed to get reinstated after just one season last week.
Fantasy Analysis:
While it's very possible that Davis does not make the 53-man roster, this signing is nothing to scoff at. He always had a ton of talent but was too often derailed by injuries and off-field issues.
