The Giants are expected to deploy a three-back system this season. Rashad Jennings will be the primary back, Shane Vereen the pass-catcher and Andre Williams has emerged as the favorite to see goal-line touches. Jennings is a major injury risk, so Williams could see a lot of carries as well. Jennings is now 30 years old and has never made it through a full 16-game season. While Williams only managed 3.3 yards per carry last season, he was very good in short-yardage situations punching in seven touchdowns. He also ran behind a miserable offensive line.
