Redskins tight ends Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen have been placed on injured reserve. Paul suffered a broken ankle and Paulsen has a severe case of turf toe. With the oft-injured Jordan Reed left as the only option, the Redskins signed free agent D.J. Williams. He will battle with Je'Ron Hamm for the TE2 job or possibly a roster spot.
Fantasy Analysis:
This is a tough blow for the Redskins, who re-signed Paul this offseason because he's well-rounded and Reed can't be counted on. Now if Reed gets hurt, they're in a very bad way at tight end.
