The New England Patriots have claimed Leonard Hankerson off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons. He should step in and play a significant role for the Patriots by playoff time. The Falcons had put him on injured reserve, he was their WR2 prior to that.

It's kind of bizarre the Falcons put him on injured reserve for a two week injury when they could desperately use him. Of course the Pats got him.
