Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was benched in the third quarter of Sunday's game in favor of Dan Orlovsky . The Lions and Stafford have had a disastrous season. Prior to being benched, he had thrown for 188 yards a touchdown and three interceptions. He has thrown for just six TDs and eight INTs this season. However, head coach Jim Caldwell did confirm that Stafford is still the starter moving forward.
