The Detroit Lions acquired tight end Tim Wright from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is the second time in as many years that the Bucs have traded Wright. Wright is pure pass-catching TE. This deal reportedly has nothing to do with Eric Ebron not living up to expectations.
Fantasy Analysis:
Wright joins a crowded Lions TE corps. At this point his role is unclear. He will likely be competing with Ebron for snaps. His skill set is not at all similar to Brandon Pettigrew's or Joseph Fauria's. Ebron is still the TE to own in Detroit but that could change if he continues to disappoint.
