Minnesota struck a deal with Darnold after Cousins agreed to a four-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, per Cousins' agent.
Since being drafted by the Vikings in 2020, Jefferson has recorded 354 receptions for 5,338 yards and 29 touchdowns in 54 games started by Cousins.
