Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas is now expected to require surgery on a tendon in his finger. The surgery will force him to miss 4-5 weeks. He will seek out a second opinion but as of now his availability for the start of the season does not look good.
Fantasy Analysis:
This is extremely predictable. We have been calling Thomas a potential bust since he signed with the Jags for just this reason. He can no longer be considered a TE1. He's currently being drafted as the TE6, but look for his ADP to drop quickly.
