The New Orleans Saints will start the NFL season without RB C.J. Spiller, who signed a 4 year $18 mil deal this offseason. This leaves Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson in the Saints backfield when they take the field Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals on the road. Ingram caught 29 of his 35 targets last season, and Robinson was a non factor in the pass attack.
Without Spiller, Drew Brees will focus his targets towards Brandin Cooks, Marques Colston, Brandon Coleman and his tight ends Ben Watson and Josh Hill.
