Falcons running back Devonta Freeman suited up for practice today. He had been sidelined since August 6 with a hamstring injury. Currently Freeman sits atop the team's depth chart and was well ahead of rookie Tevin Coleman before the injury. His return couldn't come soon enough with Antone Smith suffering a hamstring injury in the team's first preseason game.
Fantasy Analysis:
It's great to see Freeman back out on the field, even if it's in a limited capacity. The Falcons desperately needed bodies at the position. Coleman returned today as well.
