If you play in a league and you are looking to fill spots in your pitching rotation, you don’t necessarily have to look for an available starting pitcher. Often, starters can kill Fantasy teams if they implode on the mound with brief outings (like six earned runs in three innings, etc.) Instead of trying to chase wins and strikeouts, I am a bigger fan of trying to find safer relief pitchers (preferably setup guys) who can not only vulture a win, but who can get me some great numbers overall.
