Chargers safety Eric Weddle wants a new deal and he's planning a lengthy holdout to get it if he has to. He commented on the situation in a radio interview with Dan Sileo of The Mighty 1090 AM Radio. "I'm not coming in anytime soon until something on their side is said," Weddle said. "They know where we're at, and they obviously know their stance, so we'll see what happens from there." Chargers general manager Tom Telesco also commented on the situation as well. "He's a major part of our football team," Telesco said. "He's an excellent football player, and sure, our future would have him involved, there's no doubt.
