Chargers RB Melvin Gordon expected to play Saturday and 'see ample load'

San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon is nearly fully recovered from an ankle injury, which was minor to begin with. He is fully expected to play in the Chargers' third preseason game and will reportedly get an "ample" workload. As the team's first-round pick, Gordon projects to be the team's primary ball-carrier.

Fantasy Analysis:

Gordon has struggles on passing downs in training camp. However, he is fully expected to lead the team in carries by a long shot. He was a historically prolific running back at Wisconsin. As of now, he's being drafted as the RB14.
