Buccaneers' running back Doug Martin is practicing with the first team in Tampa Bay. This is despite back-to-back subpar seasons and after the team declined to pick up the backs fifth-year option. There has been much speculation this offseason about who will be the top back in Tampa. Head coach Lovie Smith made it pretty clear that as of now, Martin is the man. "He's on the first team like he has always been," Smith said. "He's one of our guys, he's our running back. He's showing up and he is getting good work. I think it is just as simple as that.
