The Buccaneers had the top waiver priority in the league and used it to claim former Texans strong safety D.J. Swearinger . Swearinger was expected to garner a good amount of interest and ended not even getting past the first team on the wire. The sky is the limit for Swearinger if he could learn to play with more discipline. He has a ton of talent but has little to no discipline. He's often times flagged for helmet-to-helmet contact, out of position or over pursuing.
