Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor finally returned to practice on Wednesday after an extended layoff. He missed nearly all of training camp with the exception of August 15-18. Pryor has a lot of catching up to do to earn a roster spot at this point. He hopes to play in the Browns' third preseason game and show enough to be considered for the 53-man roster. "We had him on a count so he got through the number and shut him down," head coach Mike Pettine said. "It was good to have him go out and execute as receiver … Hopeful's a good word.
