Montee Ball believes his struggles last season were due to injury not lack of talent. He had to have an appendectomy August in which he said he wasn't truly recovered from come Week 1. It's hard to argue if you watch his lack of speed and explosion on film. A few Weeks later he tore his groin and it was all downhill from there. Ball believes he is better than C.J. Anderson and fully intends to earn his starting job back. "C.J. deserves the No. 1 spot right now. I'm most definitely going to try to work to get it back.
