Buffalo Bills quarterback Matt Cassel is expected to be cut by the team by Saturday. Cassel has been outperformed by both Tyrod Taylor and E.J. Manuel this summer and it hasn't been all that close. Releasing Cassel would save the team $4.75 million in cap space. His release is not guaranteed but very probable at this point.
Fantasy Analysis:
We already knew Cassel wasn't good. He never had the upside of E.J. Manuel. What he was, is a guy they hoped wouldn't lose them games but he certainly wasn't winning any.
