San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerome Simpson has been activated from the reserve/suspended list. He was eligible to return last Monday. His activation coincides with safety Antoine Bethea being placed on season-ending injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Simpson could compete for the WR3 job in San Fran.
Fantasy Analysis:
This is not a good deal for the 49ers. Bethea is far more valuable than Simpson. It's unlikely he has a whole lot of Fantasy other than a cheap DFS punt option. The 49ers can barely sustain one Fantasy option per week.
