The Los Angeles Rams signed RB Lance Dunbar this spring to relieve Todd Gurley of some third-down duties and to be the main receiving tailback. Now, they will likely be without Dunbar for the first six weeks of the regular season.

Starting the regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform List (PUP) automatically puts a player on the shelf for the team’s first six games.
Dunbar tore his patella tendon in 2015 and may be having issues fully recovering.
