On Wednesday, the Chicago Bears announced that reserve RB Ka’Deem Carey underwent wrist surgery and will be out approximately six weeks.

Carey already faced an uphill battle against backup RB’s Jeremy Langford and Benny Cunningham. Plus, the Bears brought in electrifying rookie Tarik Cohen this spring as well.
The timeline puts Carey out for about the first month of the season. For a player that the team likely wasn’t set to rely on much this season, you can imagine Carey’s future with the team is in serious jeopardy.
